NEXTGEN Distribution Australia founded after Oracle asked CEO John Walters to set up a new local Australian distributor.

NEXTGEN Distribution New Zealand established following opportunities to expand the business across the Tasman Sea.

NEXTGEN companies OPTIMA, CREATE, and CONNECT established.

2015

Inaugural Summer Party held. ORACLE Cloud Centre of Excellence established.

NEXTGEN Distribution Australia regional Victorian (VIC) office opens.

NEXTGEN acquires Bang - a leading brand, digital, creative agency. ORBUS Capital established. NEXTGEN head office relocates to North Sydney.

NEXTGEN Distribution Australia regional Western Australia (WA) office opens.

Inaugural Leadership Forum held. Inaugural Wise Forum held. ORACLE Cloud Centre of Excellence changes name to STRATUS.

NEXTGEN Distribution Asia established. Singapore office becomes new Asia headquarters.

oSpace launched. NEXTGEN Asia expands with Malaysia and Indonesia offices Gary Cox joins NEXTGEN Board. Business doubles in size in 36 months – vendors, revenue and headcount

Increased digital marketing agency with strategic stake in Elastic Digital. NEXTGEN Asia expands with Philippines office. NEXTGEN expands ACT presence with the appointment of Mick Lehman. New Singapore office opened.

NEXTGEN acquired by Exclusive Networks, the global cybersecurity specialist with the ability to serve customers in over 170 countries, to become the largest cybersecurity specialist in the southern hemisphere.

John Walters founded NEXTGEN Distribution in 2011 along with Steve Murphy, and has rapidly expanded NEXTGEN through relationships, trust and integrity.

Joining NEXTGEN Distribution in 2018, Gavin Lawless brings 25 years IT industry experience to his role as Managing Director of the Australian operation.
